Healing the Whole Person Women’s Group

Led by one of our Fiat Health mental health counselors, join a small group of other Christian women on this journey as we walk through the Healing the Whole Person Retreat from the John Paul II Healing Center.

Join us on this journey to wholeness as we enter into the heart, face the pains and wounds within, and allow Christ’s divine love to bring the healing we ardently desire.

“Healing is an essential dimension of the apostolic mission and of Christianity. When understood at a sufficiently deep level, this expresses the entire content of redemption.”

— Pope Benedict XVI, Jesus of Nazareth

Through a series of 8 pre-recorded talks from Dr. Bob Schuchts and Sr. Miriam Heidland, group prayer experiences, individual prayer time, a comprehensive workbook, and opportunities to share and connect with other small group members, this group will help you see and experience God’s healing love.

Due to the sensitive nature of the content, participants will be limited to women ages 18+.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are participants limited to only women?
While we are hoping to offer men’s groups in the future, this process often brings up places of sensitivity for participants and our hope is that separating by gender will allow for more open sharing and discussion.

Can I join even if I’m not Catholic?
Absolutely! As the John Paul II Healing Center puts it: “This teaching is for anyone desiring wholeness, freedom, and an encounter with a loving Creator. If you’re looking for a deeper understanding of God’s love and the healing of your own story, you’ll fit right in.”

What happens if I need to miss a week?
We know this is during the summer months and you may have a vacation planned. If you need to miss a week, you will be able to watch the talk on your own time. Just make sure to communicate your needs with the counselor leading the group.
